Shortlist for the Booker Prize 2008

La "shortlist" des six oeuvres retenues (parmi les 112 oeuvres soumises) pour l'attribution du Booker Prize 2008 a été annoncée le 9 septembre :

First time novelists Aravind Adiga (The White Tiger) and Steve Toltz (A Fraction of the Whole) are joined by the 2000 Orange Prize for Fiction winner Linda Grant (The Clothes on Their Backs). The 2002 Man Booker longlisted author Philip Hensher (The Northern Clemency), widely-acclaimed Indian writer Amitav Ghosh (Sea of Poppies) and Irish playwright, novelist, and poet Sebastian Barry (The Secret Scripture) make up the shortlisted six.
